I am looking forward to my second PecahaKucha event on Wednesday about my journey of recovery since the unthinkable occurred!

Having done a PecaKucha event in Bexhill last month I have been invited to do another one at the Nightingale Room on the first floor of the Grand Central Pub, just by Brighton Station. These are extremely quick presentations which were developed in Japan. They are developed to present 20 slides for 20 seconds each which are used to get straight to the point and get your message out there.
Having done one previously I know how it is important to keep up with the running order of your slides as they come up. If you don’t it can lead to a very different presentation without talking to your slides, a dangerous mistake which I witnessed happen to my preceding speaker at the Bexhill-on-sea event.
I must stick to my notes and try to keep-up with the format of the presentation. I am aware of how these are presentations go and I need to make it a successful presentation to get my message across to the 70 people who are attending. Having previously done this I understand how to stick to the format and keep it moving forward so that the audience gets the most out of it!
